Greetings! I hope you enjoyed your 4th of July. I did absolutely NOTHING! I’m trying to relax as long as I can before I have to get back to my classroom and starting working for the new school year.
Let me jump in to…
This week I found a very cool bulletin board idea:
This caught my eye obviously because everyone is on Facebook. But can you believe that in my three years of teaching, I have never had an actual bulletin board? Any time that I wanted to hang my kids’ items in the hall I had to tape it to the wall (and then the principal didn’t like for us to even do that!…go figure). So this summer I’m really trying to find awesome bulletin board displays that I can use this year. Even though I teach firsties, I’m pretty sure they know what Facebook is. I think they would get a kick out of this, especially if I use pictures of them and facts about our class.
I’ve seen that some bloggers have used Pin-Up Thursdays as a linky (I wasn’t quite sure what that was until last week, ha) and that’s cool as well. Feel free to leave your Pinterest link below or your link to your blog post.
Remember that I am throwing an awesome anniversary giveaway that will start next Monday so make sure to stop by so you can enter. Speaking of giveaways, Jenny from Luckeyfrog’s Lilypad is throwing a 250 Follower Giveaway. I’m giving away my Time Bingo, and there are some other awesome prizes. Visit her here to enter!
Have a happy Thursday and what interesting thing have you found this week on Pinterest that you would like to share?
Oh my goodness! I love this bulletin board! What a cute idea and a great way to share what your class is doing with the rest of the school! I am going to use this for sure!

2 things: 1)I might have to use this bulliten board. I don't really have bulliten board in my room, but one is in the works. My 6th grade students would LOVE this!
ReplyDelete2) Thanks for being my very first follower!!! In honor of that, I am sending you a painted canvas. It is red and white zig zag lines as the base. You tell me what you want it to say. A word, simple phrase, someone's name... you tell me.
Oh gosh! I'm honored to be your first follower but you don't have to send anything! You're too kind :-)
